Show Southern Utah Students to Gather At CSU for Science Fair, Vocational Day Nearly 600 high school students from Utah, Nevada, and Arizona are expected to gather on the CSU campus on the week end of April 17 and 18 to participate in the annual CSU Vocational Day and Science Fair activities. Prof. Theron Ashcroft, head of the Science Fair, indicates in-dicates exhibits from nearly 35 high schools are expected in the areas of biology, chemistry, chemis-try, physics, astronomy and geology. geo-logy. . , . The Science Fair, first of its kind in the southern half of Utah, gets under way Friday evening, April 17 at 7 p. m. in the women's small ballroom. Exhibits Ex-hibits will show student work in all the various scientific fields. Judges will award prizes of scholarships, scientific equipment equip-ment and books. Exhibitors will be guests of the College and the Coleman. Engineering Company for a trip to Hurricane Mesa and Project Smart Saturday morning. Following this trip, the young science students will read original origin-al research papers in competition. competi-tion.
