A few Inches of wet snow was welcomed by everyone as we have Dot had any storm for months. The MIA held a dance on New Year's Fve at the school house. Music was furnished by the Garth Sandberg orchestra of Hurricane. There were noise-makers, noise-makers, confetti, and serpentine, also refreshments sold by the scouts. There was a good crowd and all report a very enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Reeves and son Bruce made a trip to California Califor-nia last week to take their son Larry back to his post at 29 Palms. Larry spent a short leave here for New Years. They were accompanied by Miss Janice Williams. Wil-liams. Hannah A, Davis and her daughter Marva Prince and children chil-dren of New Harmony visited one day last week in Summit with Mr and Mrs. RuHiw Flfr and family. Calda Davis and Ruth Piatt have returned home from Salt Lake City after a week's visit there. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies and boys were visitors vis-itors In St. George. I Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis and' I daughter have returned to their, home in Murray after spending a couple of weeks here duiing the holidays. Bishop Alton Ford has returned return-ed to his work in California after af-ter spending the holidays here. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Berry were Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Berry and son Jon and Mrs. Gwen Beal of Cedar City. Visitors at Las Vegas and Hen- derson were Mr. and Mrs. Laron Christensen and family, Marvin Christensen, Kelvin Zohner and Susie Leader. Michael Williams and Raona Ence attended a campfire meeting meet-ing Monday evening In Cedar City at the home of McNeil Boy-ter. Boy-ter. Mrs. Mable Williams enjoyed a visit from her brother, Charles H. Leader of Vancouver, B. C. and his private nurse, Miss Pet. erson. While here they visited with Mrs. Williams' children at Las Vegas and Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Lor in Higbee of Lakewood, Calif, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams here three days last week. Lillian Williams visited In To-quervllle To-quervllle Saturday. Roma and Sharla Wood of Las Vegas and Mrs. Karen Hayes of Harlingen, Texas, visited here for a few days with his sister and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams. They were accompanied accompan-ied on their return by Mrs. Wood's mother, Ilettie Pollock. Mr. and Mrs. Denor Pollock and Mrs. Lorraine Pollock spent a few days at Kanab with Gary Pollock who was moving road equipment near Glen Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Crosby and Mrs. Luella Crosby visited Saturday Sat-urday with Mrs. Crosby's sister, Lillian Williams. Afton Ford and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodburv and children Raona Ra-ona Rae and Kimball of Henderson, Hender-son, Nev., were Sunday visitors about town.
