Show Order oi Eastern Star Chapter 20 Elects New Officers Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of Eastern Star, was in session Monday November 12, for regular re-gular meeting and the annual election of officers. A program on the significance and meaning of the Charter was presented. A special ceremony honoring the out-going Worthy Matron, Mrs. F. E. Stonehocker, which included in-cluded a beautiful vocal number by Mrs. Harlan Durand was under un-der the direction of Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith. The Worthy Matron read a tribute tri-bute to thoso having birthdays in November. Officers elected for the coming year were Mrs. Arrowsmith, Worthy Wor-thy Matron; Mr. II. M. Endsley, Worthy Patron; Mrs. Harlon Durand, Dur-and, Associate Matron; T. E. Murray, Mur-ray, Associate Patron; Mrs. Dee Woolsey, Conductress; Mrs. C. L. Ewing, Associate Conductress; Mrs. H. M. Endsley, Secretary; Mrs. Clayton Lewis, Treasurer, and Mr. Clayton, three year Trustee. Trus-tee. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Forrest Stark and Mrs. L. B. Smith. The installation of officers will take place Saturday, November 17, at the Masonic temple. A l banquet honoring the incoming officers and the Grand Installing Install-ing Otters, will be held at Sullivan's Sul-livan's Cafe at 6:30 p. m. Reservations Reser-vations for the banquet may be made by calling Mrs. Harlon Durand by Friday morning. Mrs. Ross Slye, Mrs. Fred La- Frentz and Mrs. Percy Peters are In charge of the refreshments to be served after the Installation Installa-tion Ceremony. |
