Show CEDAR CITY j SOCIAL SWING Making a trip to Salt Lake City early this week were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Cartoon and Mrs. J. D. Docksteader who planned to spend several days completing business in that area. The Ladies of Elks project dance was presented Saturday i night November 19th in the form of a "Luau." Decorations depect-ing depect-ing a Hawaiian theme and original ori-ginal color of the islands included includ-ed ladies dressed in Mu Mus and men dressed in the traditional Hawaiian shirts. The featured orchestra was the Blue Notes. During the evening the group in attendance was favored with numbers presented by five Hawaiian Ha-waiian students affiliated as students stu-dents at the College of Southern Utah. They rendered numbers in song and dance from the Islands. Through 'the week end beginning begin-ning November 2, Mr. and Mrs. Ren Taylor entertained out of town guests at their mountain ranch near Deep Creek. They enjoyed the company of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hare and Mr. and Mrs. George Brodaded of Los Angeles, Calif. Entertaining friends at a dinner din-ner party on Friday evening were host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Ceroid Stoker. The Stokers invited invi-ted Mr. and Mrs. Bob Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Mead Forsyth, Mrs. Bud Chamberlain, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo'Larsen, and Mrs. Van Esp-lin, Esp-lin, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Myers to enjoy en-joy the evening social with them. |
