Show NEWS FROM KANARRAVILIE Mrs. Hannah D err Is The first major winter storm of the season came over the week end and continued over Monday. Although the storm was inter-mittant inter-mittant with snow and rain, there was about six inches of very wet snow on the ground. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis and daughter have returned to their home in Wyoming after spending spend-ing ten days here visiting and enjoying the deer hunt Mr. and Mrs. Gus Pingle of Las Vegas were weekend visitors here with relatives. They were guests at the home of Mrs. Prlngle's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Williams. . Sunday visitors here with their mother, Amanda Williams, were Mr. and Mrs. Perry O. Williams and family of North Las Vegas. Many of our people attended the Navy Band concert at Cedar City last week. Reed Williams spent the week end here with his family from Maxlcan Hat, where he has employment. em-ployment. Larry Reeves has returned to his Marine Base In California af-tor af-tor spending a couple week here. He was accompanied as for as Las Vegas by his father, Waldo Reeves. Mr. and Mrs. Verd Williams and small son of Cedar City visited vis-ited at the home of Verd's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Alton Ford. Our Primary held a Halloween party on Wednesday of last week. All were In costume and refresh-ments refresh-ments were served by the officers offi-cers and teachers. Don Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Robinson, is in the Iron County hospital receiving treatment. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves were Miss Faith McMeacham and Mr. and Mrs. Evan- Reeves and twin daughters of Cedar City. Miss Iona Roundy of Salt Lake City spent a week here with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ence, and attending to business with the telephone company. com-pany. David Williams, son of Mrs. Ethna Ford, was home on leave from his Navy base in California for a few days. He was accompanied accom-panied on his return by Mr. and Mrs. Alton Ford and Bister Lauri-lee. Lauri-lee. David will be on a destroyer on his return. Preston Williams spent Thurs-day Thurs-day in Las Vegas. He was accompanied ac-companied on his return by Mrs. Williams, who had spent ten days visiting in California. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Boardman of Paragonah spent Monday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Batty and sons of New Harmony were visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Batty on Sunday. Mrs. Luella Crosby of Kanab and Mrs. LaRee Crosby and son Jack of Cedar City visited at the Preston Williams home Saturday. Satur-day.
