Show Course Scheduling Completed AtLDS Institute A full schedule of courses is being offered by the LDS Institute Insti-tute of Religion to students of the College of Southern Utah this year. Announcement of the schedule for 1957-58 was made by Paul E. Dahl, director of the Institute. Special classes are being offered of-fered In the study of New Testament, Tes-tament, World Religions, Church History, Book of Mormon, Courtship Court-ship and Marriage and Mormon Doctrine and Philosophy. All students stu-dents regardless of race and creed are Invited and encouraged encour-aged to participate in any of the classes, according to Director Dahl. The Institute program du-?ng the school year includes th ? so cial activities of the Mutual Im-provement Im-provement Association and the Lambda Delta Sigma, national social fraternity, sponsoring LDS ideals and open to all college students. LDS students at the college are organized Into the Cedar Ninth Ward under the direction of Bishop Joseph Fillerup. Dr. Fillerup is also chairman, division divi-sion of education at CSU. All church meetings are held at the Institute. Facilities at the Institute Insti-tute include a large recreation center In addition to classrooms and a chapel. Frank Day is assistng Mr. Dahl with class instruction. Mr. Day is coordinator for the 15 L D S seminaries in southwestern Utah. |
