Show Automobile Club Stages Fourth Annual Economy Run Fourth annual economy run of the Knights of the Red. Cedar City automobile club, was staged stag-ed Sunday. Sept. 22 over an approximate ap-proximate 136 mile course. Sweepstakes winner of the event was Earl Murie in a 1957 Nash Rambler, 6-cylinder equipped equip-ped with overdrive. His ton-mile average was 51.8 miles per gallon gal-lon with an actual mileage of 28.75 miles per gallon. Top miles per gallon on the run was recorded by Mitchell Lunt with a 1957 Simca. His average was 38.60 miles per gallon gal-lon which was followed closely by another Slrnca, owned by Wll-ford Wll-ford Day, with an average of 38.. 06 miles per gallon. Lunt's average gave him first place in the economy class. His ton miles per gallon average was 44. In the small car class the winner win-ner was Gene Topham In his 1951 Ford with overdrive. His miles per gallon average was 26. Paul Holyoak copped top honors In the medium car class with 20.9 miles per gallon In a 1954 Olds-mobile. Olds-mobile.
