Show Public Meeting Called For Hotel Study Mayor Arnold Anderson of Ce-dar Ce-dar City has called a public meeting for Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 8 p. m. at Hotel El Escalante ballroom ball-room for the purpose of discussing discuss-ing action by the city on the proposed purchase of Hotel El Escalante. In making the announcement ti-.e mayor indicated that at the the present time the City is holding hold-ing an option with Union Pacific Railroad for the purchase of the buildinfe. He explained that no action has been taken by the city in regards to the building. However investigations as to legal aspects and possible uses other than as a hotel have been made. Results of these investigations will be explained at the public meeting. The city council will attempt to get the reaction of the public at the meeting to guide it in Its final decision regarding the building. Pros and cons for purchase by the city will be stated and reaction reac-tion from citizens will be Invited Invit-ed at the meeting.
