Show NOTICE TO BIDDERS ' NOTICE is hereby Riven that CEDAR CITY CORTORATION will receive scaled bids up to 5-p. 5-p. m., Monday, January 25, 19fH), for supplying approximately IO miles of 12 and 16 inch, net 1. D., cement mortar lined steel andor cast iron pipe with alternate exterior ex-terior wrappings and coatings, and various gane thickness for the Qultchapa-Cedar City pumping pump-ing plant and city grid connection; connec-tion; also for one 10-inch turbine tur-bine pump and 300 hp. electric-motor electric-motor with appropriate controls, switches and safety devices; and also for various gate valve, check valves, air and vacuum relief valves, meter, fittings, etc. to be used at the Ouitchapa pumping plant and along the-plpellne. the-plpellne. THE PIPE Is to be delivered trenchside (on trucks) and Cedar Ce-dar City Corporation will assist with the unloading; the TURBINE TUR-BINE PUMP, motor, controls, etc., are to be completely installed on the Quitchapa well and rondy for use by Cedar City Corporation; Corpora-tion; the VALVES, fittings, etc., are to be delivered to the Cedar City Corporation Waterworks shed at Cedar City, Utah. INTERESTED BIDDERS should contact RALPH B. PLATT, Consulting Con-sulting Engineer, Cedar City, Utah, for plans, specifications, bidding data and bidding forms for the various proposals. BIDS WILL BE OPENED and read aloud to the public at a special meeting of the Cedar City Council to be held In the courtroom court-room of the City and County-Building, County-Building, at 7:30 p. m.. Monday, January 25, 1900, HOWEVER, bidders take notice that bid proposals pro-posals must be In at the City office of-fice by 5 p. m., January 23, 1900, and any bid presented at the time set for opening bids will be considered late and will not be reeelved, and, that bld9 may cover all three of the Items herein here-in or may be submitted on only one of the Items.
