A baby girl was born Monday morning at the hospital in Cedar City. I Mrs. Joan Mortensen and her two sons spent several days here from Parowan last week. They visited with the Joe Lamoreaux family. Mrs. Mary A. Robb was hos-1 hos-1 pitalized for two days last week. ' She is improving at present. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Engle- stead have returned to St George after visiting here with their daughter, Mrs. Gwen Jones. Mr. and Mrs. K. Loyle Robinson Robin-son are rejoicing over a new grandchild. A baby boy was born on May 8 to Dave and Ivy Skou-gaard Skou-gaard of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson Robin-son enjoyed visits from rost of their family this past week end. The Victor Matheson family and Dave Skougaard of Cedar City visited here Saturday. The Kay Robinson and Bert Walker families fam-ilies were here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards and children of Cedar City were Sunday visitors to Paragonah. They Joined the Chester Robinsons, Robin-sons, the Ronald Robinson family fami-ly and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Robinson. Robin-son. LeGrande Robb has gone to Salt Lake City where he has employment. em-ployment. Family gathering at the D. Amasa Stones home Sunday included in-cluded most of their family mem-bers. mem-bers. Alan and family came from Parowan, Mario and family, Car-lyle Car-lyle and Kathleen Mitchell and their family were all here from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards are home again after a few days in Salt Lake City with their bro-; ther-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Dick McBride and children left for Salt Lake City Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson had members of their family v.ih them Sunday. Clinton Robinson Ro-binson and son Gerald of Richfield Rich-field were here, as were Hugh and his family from Cedar, and 2 - 1 and Ruby Bauer. Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson Robin-son had all the nearby mem-beis mem-beis of their family home for Mother's Day. The Clair D. Robinson Ro-binson family came from Parowan. Paro-wan. Mrs. Donna Jolley and children were here from Cedar City and the Dee White family came from Summit Mother's Day week end brought a number of visitors to Mrs. Eliza Maxwell and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Dean Maxwell and children child-ren of Salt Lake City visited at the Lund home as did Mrs. Clare V ".er and Zella Webster of Cedar Ce-dar City. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John Maxwell were here from Toquervllle, and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Maxwell and daughter Patsy came from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Harris of Cedar City were here Sunday for a Mother's Day visit vith Flossie's Flos-sie's mother, Mrs. Stella Edwards. Arch Lamoreaux and his son Orval visited at the Chester Robinson Ro-binson home two days last week. Sam Lister, Eugene Boardman and J. B. Jones were all here from Provo for the week end with their folks. Clarence Lamoreaux and his daughter Mrs. Colleen Clark and her children have returned to Henderson, Nevada. They visited here for several days after the Golden Wedding celebration. Mrs. Lamoreaux remained for an extra few days. Colleen took her mother-in-law, Mrs. Violet Clark to Henderson with her. The Jimmy Anderson family of Kanab spent Mother's Day here with the James H. Andersons. The senior Andersons were in Beaver Saturday to spend the day with the Jim Low and Lewis Limb families. 1 Ward Conference was held In Taragonah Saturday and Sunday. Stake President Howard Knight and counselor Watson Adams were present at some of the meetings. Reports were given by the heads of the various auxiliary auxil-iary organizations. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Bell, their daughter Paula and grandson Ronnie Read, all of Bountiful were here for a week end visit with Mrs. Iras Jones and Mrs. Eva Bell. On Monday the group traveled to Panguitch to spend the day visiting before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Renford Tal- bot received word of the arrival of a new grandchild Monday. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Talbot of Salt Lake, City. I |
