Show Former Resident Dies In Salt Lake Hospital Alfred S. Morris, 64, one time resident of Parowan, died last Friday of cancer in a Salt Lake City hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1899 in Sanford, Colo, a son of William T. and Olena Morten-sen Morten-sen Morris, and the family moved mov-ed to Parowan right after the turn of the century and resid-ed resid-ed In the home now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Robinson, and also ranched on a farm in the lower Parowan Valley. The deceased attended grade and high school here and became be-came very well known as a musician mu-sician and entertainer while attending at-tending Parowan High School at the time it was started. He married Josephine Sullivan June 18, 1923 in St George and has resided there since then. He Is survived by his widow and five children, two from a former form-er marriage, and eight grandchildren. grand-children.
