Show Institute Activities Council - Upgrade Programs An activity council, charged with the responsibility of directing direct-ing the activities of the LDS Institute In-stitute of Religion at College of Southern Utah, "has greatly improved im-proved the quality and activities activi-ties this year," stated Paul E. Dahl, institute director. Organized for the first time this year the council Is headed by Bruce Compton from Brlgham. Serving as first counselor Is Rich, ard Thomas, Wales. Utah; second sec-ond counselor, Betty Jo Bauer, Ce-dar Ce-dar City, and Helen Stevens of Holden Is serving as secretary. Mr. Dahl pointed out that the council has been responsible for a series of activities including ;he Christmas Ball, student body movies and a table tennis tournament tour-nament Planned for the spring quarter, quar-ter, which Just got under way on the CSU campus, are an or a tori, cal contest, two movies and a graduation social. A highlight of the year has been the council's program of supplying programs In the various vari-ous LDS wards in and around Cedar City.
