Show High School Students Hard at Work j On Junior Promenade ! Preparations are under way for one of the most beautiful Junior Proms In the history of the Parowan Par-owan High School, so states the 'junior class leaders, as they get ready to plunge into the final week of preparations for the big event Slated for Friday evening, April 8 In the High School gym, the class, with Nelson Merkley and Georgia Rowley as co-chairmen, Is making preparations to take over the gym this Friday to start . actual decoration of the hall. Class members have been working on dcora'tons since the first of last December. . I The theme for this year's Prom ' is "April In Paris" and decora-, tlonsl .will include small scale replicas of famous Paris Land marks, with the class colors of; lavender and silver being a part of khe decoration scheme. ? j The class Is also preparing for the promenade which is set for 11 p. m. on that night. L. N. Asay of the school faculty, will sing therjtberoe song In French and as a special feature he will announce class members In the French language, with Principal Prin-cipal Max bailey interpreting them In English. Music for dancing-will be furnished fur-nished by Mrs. Llllis Spencer anid her group, of players. Following Fol-lowing the dance the Junior class members and their partners will I remain in the gym for a party. A post prom for h lower ' classe. in the school will be held on Saturday evening, beginning I at 8:30 with the Junior high orchestra or-chestra furnishing the music forj dancing.
