Show NEWCASTLE l!EWS KOTES I By Mildred Tullis Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Christen-sen Christen-sen returned home Saturday evening after attending a Soil Conservation Meeting at the South Rim of Grand Canyon Na-1 tional Park. 1 Miss Karolyn Knell has return- i ed to Altadena, California, where she will attend school this year. J. V. Wilde of Spanish Fork is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Knell. Miss Margurite Sandstrom re turned to her home in Eureka, Utah, Wednesday after a ten day visit here with relatives. Miss Colleen Tullis who has been employed at Zion National Park this summer, returned home Wednesday to make preparations for attending school at Logan. Mrs. Iva Harrison went to Par-owan Par-owan Wednesday on jury duty. Mrs. Clarence Jolley of Cedar City was a recent visitor at the Sherman Beacham home. Herschel Neeley of Cedar City attended Sacrament meeting here Sunday and sang a lovely musical number. Jerome Tullis of Salt Lake City spent part of the week here helping help-ing to finish some "rooms on his mother's home. Steve Brower was out Tuesday to introduce the new County Agent to the farmers in this area. An interesting demonstration .on knitting was given by Mrs. Bea Piatt in the Relief Society work meeting Tuesday afternoon. |
