This new air mail schedule Is an excellent one and serves Southern Utah very advantageously. Under the Improved weather conditions the schedule Is being followed without delays or Interruptions so that the public In general and business men in particular should form the habit of using our air mail services to the fullest extent. It saves time and expedites your business transactions. The rate, as yuu know, is now inly S cents per ounce to any post jffice flying the US. flag and also to Canada and Old Mexico. It should ilso be noted that the rates to for-I'U'.n for-I'U'.n count l ies have in general been rut more than two-thirds, now varying from only 10 cents to SouUi America to 25 cents to China. The rate to the latter country was formerly 90 cents. The registration and Insurance services upply to air mail as they Jo to ordinary mall so that in case of loss of or damage to registered or insured air mail, the' mailer Is fully indemnified. Ordinary stamps may be used lor air mail letters or parcels In the event you do not have the specially spe-cially designed air mail stamps. However, when ordinary stamps are used for air mall be sure to write or stamp "Air Mail" directly below the stamps used. However, you are cautioned against the use of specially designed ti lr mail envelopes for ordinary mall. Such envelopes must not be used except for air mall service. Canceling the imprint "Air Mall" on them does not make them acceptable ac-ceptable for ordinary mall. .They must be returned to the sender If ?o used, since they are Intended exclusively for air mail use and must carry 5 cent3 postage. |
