Show Utah Hereford Sale Fails to Attract Bidders, Low Prices Offered for Bulls Because of the lack of bidding at the Utah Hereford Sales held in Cedar City Tuesday, only 18 of a scheduled 35 registered bulls were sold. However, a large crowd was on hand in the morning for the judging which was one of the highlights of the sale. A late entry, GHR C. Cedar City, purchased the bull in the auctions for $800. Average price for the 18 bulls which were sold was $523. According Ac-cording to Merlin Clark, secretary secre-tary of the Utah Hereford Association, Asso-ciation, this average price is below be-low the average price for entire sales which have taken place in other parts of Utah and surrounding sur-rounding states.
