Show Adult Education Class Completed So popular did the recent upholstery up-holstery class at the BAC prove to be that two classes had to be formed to accommodate the people peo-ple who enrolled said C B. Coo-ley, Coo-ley, chairman of the Cedar City Adult Education committee who was in charge of the group. The classes were held for 12 weeks with a wide variety of up-hostering, up-hostering, going from settees to needle-work chairs. The two classes were limited to 12 members mem-bers each so that individual attention at-tention could be given. William Limb of Cedar City conducted the classes at the BAC shops. Limb's source material was used to buy padding and other equipment since it could be done faster this week, and speeded up the work of the class. Mr. Cooley expressed great pleasure over the results of the classes and said that the work produced compared favorably with sets found in Cedar City stores. The variety of colors and the quality of the covers used was noteworthy he said. The classes made jobs from new frames bought on the coast, which they upholstered, plus many ma-ny refinished frames and worn chairs. Rebuilt furniture, said Mr. Cooley, is well justified. "If run next year", he said, "I hope to hold the class for a longer period of time". |
