Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Office of City Recorder Cedar City, Utah Notice is hereby given that Cedar City, Utah, hereinafter referred to as the "Owner", will receive bids up to 4:00 p. m. on the 1st day of June, 1948, for the award of Contract Con-tract for furnishing all labor and materials In connection with constructing con-structing outfall sewers to Its present pres-ent sanitary sewer system, also constructing con-structing sewage disposal works, located lo-cated partly within and partly without with-out the Incorporated limits of Cedar City, Utah. Such bids will be received receiv-ed In the office of the City Recorder, Record-er, located In the City Hall In said city and will be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time In the Council Chamber in said building. Separate bids will be received re-ceived for outfall sewers and for sewage disposal works. Each bid must conform to and be responsive to this Invitation, the Information for Bidders, the Plans and Specifications, and all other Instruments comprising the pertinent perti-nent Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and open to public Inspection Inspec-tion In the office of the City Engineer Engi-neer of Cedar City, located in the City HaU at Cedar City, and at the office of C. J. Ullrich, Consulting . Engineer for the aforesaid project, located at 422 Ness Bldg Salt Lake City, Utah, and copies of plans and specifications may be obtained at either place by depositing $15.00 for each set This deposit will be refunded re-funded if the plans and specifications specifica-tions are returned In good condition within 8 days after date of bid opening. Each bid shall be made out on a bid form to be obtained at either of the offices mentioned above for obtaining plans and specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the Owner or a satisfactory bid bond In favor of the Owner, executed execut-ed by the Bidder as Principal and a satisfactory surety company as Surety, Sure-ty, in an amount not less than five percent of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guaranty that the Bidder Bid-der will execute the Contract If It is awarded to htm In conformity with the Contract Documents and shall provide the surety bond as specified therein five (5) days after notification of the award of the Contract to the Bidder. The Owner reserves the privilege of rejecting any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or Informalities Inform-alities In any bid or In the bidding.
