Show (Pity the (Poo 7l&h Boys Match Wits With Wily Trout A Fish Scramble, something new for the members of the Cedar Wildlife Wild-life Federation, will be staged at the municipal swimming pool Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. The scramble, the first of its kind ever to be held in this part of the state, promises not only to furnish a lot of fun for the participants but also l?r the spectators who may gather at the pool . A number of fish have been tagged tag-ged and will be released In the pool, with every member of the Junior Jun-ior Federation Is eligible to try for a catch. Many prizes have been provided pro-vided for the boys who are able to "land" their fish. The fish, real live ones, will be released in the pool and the boys may then dive for them. The catch must be made with the bare hands, and plently of excitement can be expected before the last fish is hauled out of the pool The boys are asked to bring their swimming suits, a towel and a sack in which to hold his "catch" after it Is made. The scramble will take place at 1:30 p. m. Saturday, May 23, and everyone is Invited to attend. The affair is being arranged by Lew Arnold, Cal Smith of the Wildlife Wild-life Federation, and Louis Arnold and Gary Terry of the Junior Or-(tanlzatlon |
