Bethers, principal of the Cedar City high school, and holder of a five year 100 per cent attendance attend-ance pin In the Cedar City Lions club, was elected president of that organization Monday when ballot were cast by the Lions members. He will take over his duties on July 1. succeeding Kumen S. Gardner. J. Frank Dalley, head of the local lo-cal employment service In Cedar City, was named first vice president, presi-dent, succeeding Edwin L. Peterson. Other officers named were Reed Roberts, second vice president; Theo Corry, third vice president; Loran D. Hlrschl, TaU Twister; Daniel M. Jones, Lion. Tamer; and Eldrow Rlgby and Joseph R. Wiatrowskl, directors. The new officers have all been named as delegates to the state convention, to be held In St. George on June 4 and 5. |
