Show High School Band To' Give Radio Program The Cedar City high school band will appear In a 15 minute concert con-cert over Radio Station KSUB on Thursday, January 23, to Initiate a series of radio programs to be sponsored spon-sored by the high school. The programs pro-grams will be given every other Thursday from 2:45 to 3:00 in the! afternoon, and will feature various j activities and phases of high school life. I A. B. Larson, of the high school faculty will be advisor to the high school Radio committee, with La-von La-von Urle and Stanley Dcmllle committee com-mittee members. The opening program will feature the high school band of fifty-five young musicians, directed by A. B. Larson. They will play semi-classical and popular music. The program to be given on the 23rd will Include: "Amparlto Roca" by Texldor, Spanl;h Military March. "Fountain of Youth", King, Overture. Over-ture. "Tumbling Tumble Weeds", Nolan popular arrangement by Bennett. |
