State University Teacher Trainer Spends Week Here In a new Innovation the University Univer-sity of Utah teacher training department de-partment has started a program of giving actual rural training to prospective pro-spective teachers and making them available to the schools of the outlying out-lying areas. In keeping with this new policy, Mist Carol Evans of Salt Lake City spent last week training in the third grade of the Cedar elementary ele-mentary schools. In adltlon to working work-ing In the class room, the young lady was given an opportunity to ;make numerous civic and church contacts, as a means of giving her n Idea of what regular teaching conditions would be in rural communities.
