Show Civilian Defense Finance Committee Plans Activities Dean Fisher, chairman of the Finance Clmmittee of .the Iron County Civilian Defense committee, commit-tee, announces that his committee has outlined a plan of collecting finances for this important activity acti-vity and that already considerable funds have been obtained. The County Commission, City Councils and town boards will be aslted for appropriations, and to this will be added funds that can be raised by public defense dances and a "Tag-Day" "Tag-Day" that is being planned. Under the "Tag-Day" program, Defense tags are to be sold similar to the American Legion and Veterans Vet-erans of Foreign Wars Poppy Day programs. Details will be announced later. Mr. Fisher also states that a request re-quest Is to be made for additional appointments to the financing committee. com-mittee. The committee now consists con-sists of Mr. Fisher, Dr. John Beal of Cedar City and Arthur Joseph of Parowan. These men have asked that a representative from each of the communities In the county be added as assistants. Five new members mem-bers will be added, one each from Paragonah, Summit, Kanarra, Mo-dena Mo-dena and Lund.
