Show I Father of Cedar Man ! Dies In Orderville Janus Christian iio.t.nJer of Or Jen ill , lailior of Giles II. Bo-lunder Bo-lunder of CeJar City, died at his home on May 31st following a ! major operation. Mr. Bolander was born on April 10, 1877. In Alborg, Denmark. While a small boy hi w.iS converted to the L. D. S. church and came to VIM. He has always been an active ac-tive church worker, and filled a thtce and a h.ilf year mission to the Samoan Islands. He served two Stake Missions and at the time of his deatn was Ward Clerk. Us Is survived bji his widow, Elanor C. Bolar.der, whom he mar. tied on December 13, 1905 In the St. Geoige Temple, and the following fol-lowing sons, Joseph C. and William C. Bolander of Orderville; Oiles H. Bo'.ander of Cedar City, and Rerd C. Bolander of Salt ' Lake City. Also furviving are ten grandchild: grand-child: 1 1, and the following brothers bro-thers and sisters: Andrew and George Balander, Mrs. Minnie Chllds, Mrs. Josephine Elswood. and Mrs. Anna Longhurst, all of Idnho; Hyrum Bolander and Mrs. Chrinena Hebbs of Ogden, Sadie Bolander, and Henry Bolander of Grand Coulee, Washington, and John Bolander of Burbank, California. Cali-fornia. All four of hb sons have completed missions for the L. D. S. Church. Giles Bolander was home oa emergency leave from the armj at the time of his father's death. He was on overseas duty with the army or occupation In Korea and was granted an emergency leave because of the Illness of his father, and returned home by air. He reported re-ported to Fort Douglas Wednesday for further assignment. |
