Show Services Held For John C. Carpenter Funeral services were conducted ir the First ward chapel Thursday of last week (or John C. Carpenter, 9, who died on December 9lh following fol-lowing an illness from a paralytic stroke. The services were conducted by BLshop William Snow of the Cedar Fifth ward and included the follow, ing program: Organ music by Mr3. Melba Sargent, Sar-gent, Invocation by David Smith. Vocal solo, "There is a Land, by Clive Hartman. Talk by Alex H. Rollo. Vocal solo, "In the Garden", by Ray Cosslett. Talk by Charles R. Hunter, Vocal solo, "Teach Me to Pray," Accompanist for all. musical numbers num-bers was Mrs. Beth Leigh. Benediction by Ray Mlddlesworth. An Elks Lodge graveside service was conducted by John M. Brown, after which the grave was dedicated by Bert Langford. |
