Sargent, who is station d In England, has been! awarded the Good Conduct Medil' for "having completed more than one year's continuous active s r-vice r-vice while the US. is at war." We quote from thj letter: "This a-ward a-ward was made to your son for ' having efficiency through faithful faith-ful and exact performance of duty for effici ncy through capacity to produce desired results, and be- cause his behavior has be:n such ' as to deserve this recognition. Tine deilg.nt men such as sergeant ser-geant Sargent make our army a force that will not be defeat :d. Members of this command are proud to be serving with such a man.
