Twenty men under the direction of Mr. Shyer, Frank Richards, construction suiiertntendenf. and Jimmy Phillips, in charge of livestock, live-stock, are now busy preparing materials ma-terials including wagons, etc. linim', up local tiilmt fur use In the picture, pic-ture, and making- detailed location selections. About one hundred twenty f!'e people, including stars, and other members of the cast, producers, directors and techincians, will arrive ar-rive in Cedar City Sunday, and be ready to start work on the picture Monday morning. The picture, a technicolor film, will be filmed at Duck Creek, Navajo Lake and Cedar Ce-dar Mountian. The picture will co-star Deanna Durbln and Robert Page, and will be directed by Frank Ryan, who directed "Her's To Hold," one of Miss Durbin's most popular succrs-ses succrs-ses with William Holland as assistant as-sistant director. "Can't Help Sinking" Is being ' produced by Felix Jackson, with Frank Shaw, Associate Producer In direct charge of filming in this locality. It is exacted that 150 local people peo-ple will be used in the picture as extras, etc., and that the Co. will spend at least three weeks on location lo-cation here. The company will be housed at the Escalante Hot' 1 during dur-ing the entire stay in this locality. |
