POULSON, STATE ARCHITECT, STATING HE HAD CONFERRED WITH GOVERNOR MAW, MADE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS AT A MEETING TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10TIL, AT- THE BRANCH AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE: 1 . That The People of This County Could Not Expect to Receive Post-war Buildings at the College Unless They Saw Fit to Support Governor Maw! 2. That the Senate Appropriations Committee I Would not be Sympathetic to a School in a County Which was not Sending Senator Support for Maw! The following Cedar City Citizens, Chamber of Commerce Officials and B. A. C. Committee attended this meeting and can attest to the above statements: John Rowberry, Dr. John Real, Don Draper, Henry Jones, R. J. Shay, Douglas Clark, Clif Ewing, Henry Oberhans-ley, Oberhans-ley, Roy Halverson, M. C. Roberts, Dr. J. S. Prestwich and Kumen Jones. . Alumnus of the B. A. C, Citizens of Iron County, do we intend that one man holding public office of trust shall dictate to us how to vote, or building funds will be withheld from our college? This college was built before this man took office, grew before this man began to pressure groups of citizens and we know the people of this county will not allow any man or his associates to remain in office that have any such un-American ideas.
