Show Jaycees Set Date For Wrestling Card Another wrestling card will be presented in Cedar City nxt week by the Junior Chamber f Commerce Com-merce and the State Guard In response re-sponse to many requests from fans who witnessed the bouts staged a couple of weeks ago. The program will be staged in the armory on Friday, Noveniber 10th. The main events of the card will feature some of the best wrestlers Jn the country today, with local boxing touts making ,ip the balance of the card. Chief Thunder Bird. t e popular popu-lar Canadian Indian, who nude such a hit with the fans when he appeared here on the Jaycee program, pro-gram, will appear in the main event meeting Power House Hansen, Han-sen, former Salt Lake City wrestler who has become one of the top-ranking top-ranking performers of the country. Thunder Bird, exponent of the famous Indian Death Lock, cpught the public fancy as no other per-fornwr per-fornwr has ever done in Cedar City. In the other feature wrestling bout, Stanley Maystack, the popular Bearded giant, and the equally unpopular un-popular Cliff White, will meet each other. Maystack won his bout here before, while White lost to the Indian Chief after a bitter battlf. Both wrestling bouts will lbe two out of three fall affairs, while two or three four round boxing bouts will complete the card. |
