Show Parents Announce Daughter's Marriage Miss Lois Luke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Luke of this city, and Dr. Kenneth L. Cook, son of Mrs. Phillip H. Carrigan of Lacon-la. Lacon-la. New Hamp.vhire, were married in the L D S Institute, Monday ev-. ev-. ening. September 2nd. Stake President Presi-dent David L. Sargent officiated M:s LiiFawr. Williams was maid or honor and bridesmaids were Miss Ruth Marie Hunter. Miss Betty Lou Jones, Miss Marie Little, and Miss Rose Bybee. Mr. Hilton Cornwall rf F'rovo, was best man and Bruce Riddle Rid-dle and Bob Rowley acted as ushers. ush-ers. Immediately following the cere-I cere-I niony the newlyweds were honored at a reception in the Third Ward Church. The bride is a graduate of the Branch Agricultural College and of ! the B. Y. U. She taught school in Provo City during the pa.st year. Dr. Cook received his B S degree in physics at the Massachusetts Institute In-stitute of Technology and was a-warded a-warded a PhD. in geology and physics phy-sics at Chicago University. After an extensive honeymoon in western national parks, the newly-weds newly-weds will make their home in Reno, Nevada, where Dr. Cook is stationed station-ed the United States Bureau of Mines. |
