Show Broncos Work Out Largest Football Squad In' History Fifty hopefuls have been going through their puces on the B. A. C. campus this week under the eye of Football Menter Murray Maughn. This Is the largest football squad ever to hit the B. A. C, and the Initial fifty men promises to grow with the opening of school Sept. 16th. Last week Maughn limited his work to non-contact loosening up exercises, kicking, passing and early ear-ly "Walk-through" blocking, but this week the heftles sport all the pads used In the game and are beginning be-ginning to "rougn It up" a bit. Morning drill Is being used for play study, and afternoon sessions to more contact work. Maughn seems pleased with the turnout and the ability exhibited by the boys so fur, but has not made any commitments concerning team placements, and states thut his team and positions on those teums arc always "wide open" or the man who siiows ability to fill the pt, from the opening day to the Thanksgiving games.
