Opera house last night the young folks danced the Old Year out and the Now Year in and continued in their merry making - until 5 o'clock a, m. Jan. 1. i The "Big" event of the holi days came off last evening in I the shape of a married peoples' party, held .in the Rex Hall. i About two hundred persons were entertained with games and m music. They rung the Old "J Year out and the New Year in. I - A 'very sociable, congenial spirit prevailed. Dainty lunch v i(1 ' was served. J Word has just been received J ' from Provo that our fellow townsman, James A. Ollerton, ' hae joined the benedicts. His ' ! bride is Miss Teressa Bakes of 1 Beaver. The marriage cere- ' , mony was performed In the Salt Lake temple Dec. 24th. Nim is one of Parowan's most progress- j ive and highly respected young , ' men. and Miss Bakes is a very quiet, steady young lady. Al- I though they have doferred this important step a little late, their many friends wish' them f joy and peace throughout life's NmI journey. |
