Tho program for the opening great day is now under consideration. con-sideration. Tho grounds closed to the public last Sunday, January 10, at sunset. Tho work of Installing exhibits is now going forward with a rush. The general admission to the Exposition Expo-sition will bo: Adults, 50 cents. Children, 25 cents. Children under fivo, free. Books of fifty and one hundred admissions ad-missions can bo secured by tho public. These sell for $20 and $40 respectively. respective-ly. The individual admission stand tho purchaser 40 cents. Tho tickets aro transferable nnd good If detached. Additional admission will bo charged to the various concessions. Otherwise the general admission covers cov-ers everything. Today tho status of the Exposition is ns follows: All of tho main structures are completed. com-pleted. Of tho eighteen foreign buildings I many are entirely completo and the othors nearly so. Of tho twenty-eight twenty-eight State buildings, a few aro tardy, but will bo finished on time; the rest are well along. The concessions of the Zono are unfinished, un-finished, but this is rapid work and is progressing rapidly. Onc-forth of tho exhibits have been received. The collier Jason, bringing the Main Exposition exhibits, has sailed from Liverpool. Eleven carloads have arrived ar-rived from Cuba. Others from many other countries. Many other small consignments have been Bhipped and will reach here before February 1. There will be ample time to install all satisfactorily. |
