Gov- H ernor Spry and other influential H people have seen the conditions H in that locality, and the utter H impossibility of the limited pop- H ulation building good roadu over iH so large a tract of rugged coun- H try, and have promised their co- H operation. The work done last H season was a great help, mak- fl ing it possible for automobiles ' "H to get in and out of St. George, VviH but there is a great deal more to be done before it is an' autoist's iH dfeam, as the Governor ascer- tt H tained by his recent visit to 'H the Grand canyon via the Dixie ' route. With good roads into H Dixie it will soon become popular H as a winter resort, and a great many of the well-to-do residents tU of7 the northern counties wil' B have their winter homes in ;H Washintgon county.
