Show Correspondence NADA. Nadu, Utah, Aug. 4, 1915. B. H. Mattcson has returned from Milford. Wm. W. Butlor was homo a few days this week. 1.11 inchesof rain fell in July, and was distributed in such a way as to do tho most good. James Stimpson made a trip to Mil-ford Mil-ford the other day in regard to his filing. Jack Linderman of Las Vegas spent a few days here visiting with his brother tho first of tho week. ' Mrs. Wilkes James arrived hero from San Diego the other day and is visiting at the home of J. C. James. Rambler and Matteson have finished fin-ished plowing .for F. Culmscc, who will put in 20 acres of rye this fall. i G, O. Zilligitt, who has been spending spend-ing a month with his brother C. A., will return this week to Inglewood, California. Rabbits are much more numerous in this valley this year thanjast. Some rabbit drives are being planned, as there are now enough settlers to make a good drive. Mr. McGuire, who comes from Pasadena, Pasa-dena, California, is unloading his car and is busy with the help of our ex-perienced ex-perienced carpenter, t Linderman, putting up hs, buildings. p V B J. Lush has been enjoying a visit vis-it from hU old friend, Jack Kirkman, whqpi he succeeded in interesting in land, gq much so that he filed on section sec-tion No. 7, 1H miles south of the post office. E. A. Bangle accompanied accompan-ied thorn to Milford, w Mr. and Mrs, A. A. Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Lewis and little daughter, Helen Elizabeth, returned from a long visit to Los Angeles and Altadena, California. They all say that they are glad to be at homo again, and they have been greatly missed by their many friends, We are now all reaping the benefits bene-fits of the work done by the Nada Commercial club since its organiza- j' H tion last October. Mr. Mason filed , H and with his family took up residence ' , immediately and has put in a, largo H acreage of crops, doing everything in i 4 M a business-like manner. Mr. Stone, M who never lived on the place, but has ' H hired some work done in the past two , H years, now claims his preferance right of ninety days, Joe McCutcheon and ' H. M. Couch accompanied Mr. Mason -, j M to the capital as witnesses and L. R. jJ Miller as witness for Mr. Stone. ' H |
