Show AEROPLANE SEEN IN VICINITY OF ENOCH Eugene Cripps reports the sighting of an aeroplane over this county last Friday morning at an early hour, in the vicinity of Enoch, and traveling at a high rate of speed in a northeasterly north-easterly direction. The machine was apparently nbout a mila in the air, and was some little distance beyond Mr. Cripps and tv.-o companions when it wbg discovered. It was too far a-way a-way for the sound of the engines to reach them, but all three plainly saw the craft, with its long planes spread out, and watched it until out of sight, apparently headed in the direction of Beaver. Mr. Cripps was accompanied by his brother Walter Cripps and Irwin Dus-tin. Dus-tin. The boys had no idea as to whether it was an enemy craft or not, as it was not close enough to inspect details, de-tails, but it was too plainly visible for any doubt to exist as to its being an aeroplane. The course would suggest that it might be a U. S. ship plying between southern California and Salt Lake City. |
