Show , CITY COUNCIL PUTS THE LID ON TRAVEL Passes Resolution (Quarantining Cedar City Against All Outside Travel I'ntil Further Notice special meeting of the City Coun cil was held in the Library Auditorium Auditor-ium last evening, the principal busi- ness being the passing of a resolution I quarantining Cedar City against the travel from other sections of the . country where influenza is known to , exist, and particularly against persons I coming in via the railroad. It has been definitely determined that a very considerable number of cases of in ftoenin are directly traceable to this J source of exposure, and it is proposed to guard against it a- far as possible in future. The City Council passed a resolution resolu-tion authorizing the institution of the quarantine against travel, and the cm- j ployment of a lufflcient number of special officers to enforce the order, ! leaving the details to be worked out this morning by the Board of Health. IJereafter, until further notice, all ' persons coming to Cedar City from other towns or parts of the country, must either pass through without a stop or be isolated and quarantined here for five days. |
