A dividend of five per cent on. purchase and five on capital stock were declared. " The following directors were elected for the ensuing two r years: L. N. Marsden. S. A. Matheson, John Bentley, James A. Benson and Silas J. Ward. Mr. K. Anderson, representing v.- the Deseret News Book Store , r and supply company, was in the city Saturday Jan. 24th soliciting solicit-ing orders for school supplies. The board of Trustees placed an order with him for supplies for the coming school year. Mrs. Alice M. Our school teacher has come to seriously doubt tho truth of the statement that Iron County has a superintendent of schools, because ho hasn't as yet scon anything of that alleged official. |
