Show WILL CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING TONIGHT Tonight ,from 6 to 9 o'clock, to? saariicKtoaaiiaif will celebrate their fiftieth wedding wed-ding anniversary at the home of a son, Jethero Palmer, in this ity. Some &5 invitations have been sent out tcr old friends and associates as-sociates of former years of the aged couple, and a large attendance attend-ance is expected. Refreshments Refresh-ments will be served and an appropriate ap-propriate program rendered. Mr. Palmer was one of the pioneers in this part of the state, being delegated by President Presi-dent Brigham Young to come to Cedar City to perform work in the line of a blacksmith for the people of the southern part of thetato, ho being a blacksmith by trade. x He came to Iron county in 1851, since rwhich time he has resided here continuously. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer have a number of children who have grown to maturity here and who are among the county's leading citizens, citi-zens, standing high in the public estimation.
