D. Sut- ton, manager of the asoolatlon, fol lowing a recent meeting of the board of directors. Pony polo, In which men from Fort Douglas will participate, is assured. Tho teams will give exhibition matches match-es In the enclosuro of the race track three days of tho week, the activity being too strenuous to penult of dally performance. On the alternating days thero will bo competitive drills between be-tween squads from the Fort and the Utnh national guard. Silver loving cups will be awarded each member of the winning polo team. An auto tooter, novel game of skill, will bo another innovation In the way of amusements. It Is open to all motor contestants, tho Idea being to drlvo on to a nicely balanced tooter about four feet from tho ground and strike a balanco for a perceptible period per-iod of time. A prize will be given to overy driver who succeeds. Pyrotechnic displays for each night of the fair have been secured. All the 3 latost freaks and thrillers of flre- j ' works display will be exhibited to tho I fair patrons. Negotiations are under way for a large carnival.
