MAIN HOTEL AT CEDAR. --00 ' (Los Angeles Times) A short dispatch last week informed in-formed the public that tho Interstate Commerce Commission had granted permission for tho Union Pacific System to build thirty-two miles of track from Lund to Cedar City, Utah. This apparently unimportant )cta of news means that Los Angeles is to gain two things a new industry and a new playground. The industry is iron, something 4ho Southwest lacks, and by its fundamental fund-amental nature will mean an aid to (nearly all other industries for steel J is the therometer of industry. Vast : iron deposits, said to be the greatest in the world, will be opened up by i Los Angeles intu!tats and the product pro-duct shipped here for distribution. 1 The playground is Zion NationnI Park and the district about it, already al-ready visited by motorists. The highways will be extended and hotels established on the Yellowstone plan, while the railway will make possible a popular resort. Mr. Do Brabant said that five hotels would be established at Cellar, Ce-llar, Cedar Breaks, Bryco Canyon, North Rim Grand Canyon and Zion National Park.
