Show M Still Aflcr Land. H i People from various sections H of the country, east and west, H ' north and south, arc still after H Iron county lands. It is estimat- H J cd that in the neighborhood of H 15000 acres have been located H : under the Smoot Act since the H 'i 1st day of November, nnd there H are people comingevery day who H , arc locating more. H ! It will be but a matter of a H , few months before all the choice H lands of Iron County will be H l located, and it is a rentable H f fact that the major portion of it H ' will have been secured by out- H Hido people while our young men, H & great many of them, have been H sitting idly on 'their oars. H However, if the land is secured H by outsiders, there certainly H ' i must be some work done by H them to get the land in condition H 3 for cultivation, and consequently H the money necessary to do this H work will be circulated airong H I the pcoplo of this country to a Hi , ' great extent. Yet it would be a H J , good thing if our young men H ' . would bucklo into the harness H I and get busy in placing the land H r in condition for cultivation them- H selves. Every dollar they put H J into the soil now will be quad- H A rlipled within two years. Those H who are at all able should not Hj hesitate one momont; they should H be "up and a comin' " with the I H J best of them. .4 |
