The booklet is written by Professor B. Roland Lewis, one of tho foremost authorities on the one-net piny in America. His book on tho technique of this type of play being tho only one published. The bulletin contains chapters on tho chnractor-istics chnractor-istics of tho one-net play, a selected list of fifty plays suitablo for production produc-tion by high schols and clubs, and a complete list of references on tho sub-i et. I News is received this morning by wire from the state basket ball tournament tour-nament at Salt Lake City that the B. A. C. five was defeated last night by the Springvillo team by a score of 41-25. It docs not look ns if this were going to be a B. A. C. year, so far as state championship honors aro concerned. con-cerned. Oh, well, it cannot bo expected ex-pected that wc can beat the state every ev-ery year, and no ono has felt that the local College team this year was quite up to par, when compared with the teams that havo been developed during dur-ing recent years. Still, they havo two or three whirlwind players, and may yet give a good account of themselves at the tournnment, despite tho bad beginning. |
