On Tuesday Father Ilendrickx of Montpelier arrived and continued the .mission until Friday evening, our pastor pas-tor being obliged to return to R?xburg. Great interest in the discourses was t manifested by the non-Catholics, and a few converts will join the only true church. The Catholics came from all Fides, and the result was that Father HendricVx hal the pleasure of distributing distrib-uting twenty-seven holy communion. R. iXiederkorn came to this city to visit 1 Alpha Court No. 497 of the Women's ; Catholic Order of Foresters at its regular reg-ular meeting Oct. 21. A majority of the members were . resent, and after the regular business busi-ness had been transacted the ladies-were ladies-were delighted to listen to the deputy's remarks on the good of th? order. The chaplain of Alpha Court. Rev. Father Palladino, S. J.. spoke in approving terms of the practical, sensible instructions in-structions given by Deputy N1ede-korn. N1ede-korn. The reverend .father also expressed ex-pressed the pleasure he f.dt in the harmony and good example (if the members of Alpha Court and their true Catholic spirit. Bishop Keane is making a tour of the southern part of the slate, holding mission services. He was at liock Springs last Sunday. - Mrs. Heenan entertained last week the Thursday Afternoon Card club. 'High five was the game played and Mrs. McCabe was awarded "the first prize and Mrs. McGuire won the consolation con-solation prize. At the conclusion of the games refreshments were served.
