Show UMMm Bells. Cook-Leyland. A pretty wedding took place at St. Mary's cathedral on Christmas day, : when Miss Ethel D. Cook became the I bride of James A. Leyland. Rev. Father Fa-ther Kiely performed the ceremony. The young bride was received into the church on Christmas eve and made her first holy communion on Christmas morning. Miss Agnes Leyland acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Thomas Leyland as best man. i The Intermountain Catholic joins with hosts of friends in extending to the young couple best wishes for all happiness to attend them through life. They will reside at Park City. Johnson-Dooley. A wedding that was of much interest to many friends was that of Miss Georgia J. Johnson of Carson City and W. J. Dooley, the well known and popular pop-ular mining man of Nevada and southern south-ern Utah. The ceremony, which was a quiet one owing to the recent death of Mr. Dooley's brother, N. P. Dooley, took place in St. Mary's cathedra. San Francisco, on Dec. 17, Rev. Father Dempsey of the cathedral officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Dooley are visiting in Salt Lake and will shortly leave for Stateline, Nev., where they will permanently per-manently reside and be at home to their friends. The Intermountain Catholic extends congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Dooley and his charming bride. |
