Show .' BTJTTE, MONT. Mrs. Catherine Miller, aged 60 years, died Thursday and was buried from the residence of her son, Michael Shea, at 107 Wells street. Max Doerflnger and Miss Marie Kep-pler Kep-pler were married in St. Patrick's church by the Reverend Father De Siere. Father McGlynn officiated at a sim-; pie church wedding recently and made two young people well known and popular pop-ular in Butte, man. and wife. Miss Martha B. Duffield of this city and Thomas Ignatius Casey, formerly a Butte man but now a draftsman in the Boston & Montana smelter at Great Falls, were the happy couple. Mr. and Mrs. Casey left for the Cataract City the same evening. $ Word has been received from Salt Lake City that William Larkin, city ticket agent of the Oregon Short Line of Butte, win have to be operated on a second time in the near future. Mr. Larkin was not strong enough to have his appendix removed the first time, but he is rapidly regaining strength and It is believed that he will be able to undergo the nrdeal once more in the near future. It will be several months before he will be able to leave the hospital hos-pital at Salt Lake. Thomas McTague, one of the prison contractors at Deer Lodge and a candidate can-didate for state senator, Is in the city in the interest of his canvass. Father Blaere of Livingston Is spending spend-ing a few days in the city at the home of Father De Siere, and is assisting in the devotional exercises at St. Patrick's church. |
