Show VICTOR, COL. The state convention of the Hibernians Hiber-nians and the Ladies' Auxiliary of Colorado was held recently in Victor. The following officers were elected, by the Hibernians; President. Frank E. McCafferty, Victor; vice president, P. J. Ryan, Colorado Springs; treasurer, Thomas S. Owens, Leadville; secretary, John Curran. Pueblo; chaplain. Father Barry, Denver. The Auxiliary chose officers as follows: President, Mrs. Sarah Clarke, Denver; vice president, Mrs. Dena Carville, Central City: secretary. Miss Jennie G. Green, Leadville: treasurer, Mrs. Margaret Mallahan. Pueblo. S. J. Donleavy was elected unanimously unani-mously county president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians of Arapahoe county, coun-ty, and installed Aug. 7. As chairman of the National Convention committee he achieved a notable success, the verdict ver-dict of the delegates being that the convention was the most successful in the history "of the organization. The other county officers are T. B. Finn, vice president; Michael Lewis, treasurer, treas-urer, and J. L. Dolan, secretary. Arapahoe embraces the city of Denver. |
