Show Obituary . : Adams. James D. Adar.is died shortly after 7 o'clock last Saturday evening at his late j residence, 222 C street, of a complication of diseases, after a long illness. He leaves a wife ,and seven children, the youngest being 12 years of age. Deceased De-ceased was a son-in-law of ex-Governor j Thomas. At the time of his death Mr. Adams was 49 years of age. No arrangements have yet been made for , the funeral. , " j 'Mr. Adams was one of the best known ! men in Salt Lake. For many years he had been in public" life, which gave him a very large acquaintance. At the time of his death he was private secretary secre-tary to Postmaster Thomas. Mr. Adams, resigned the position of desk sergeant at the police station to enter the service serv-ice of the postmaster. Deceased was born in Lake George county, Maryland. He came to Salt Lake in 1882 and has made this city his home ever since. His funeral occurred on Tuesday afternoon. aft-ernoon. The sympathy of all is extended extend-ed to the bereaved wife and family in the loss of a devoted husband and loving lov-ing father. |
