Show The Queen's Rebuke. J Some years ago, says the Youth's Companion, wnen the present queen of England was Princess of Wales and her children were very small, they were staying at a quiet watering place. The Mohtreatl Star repeats this little story of the royal family, which shows that Queen Alexandra is much like other mothers,- and that her children are like children the world over: Once on returning from a short sail, one of the little princesses was walking up the plank. An old sailor instinctively instinct-ively said: "Take care, little lady!" "I'm not a lady, I'm a princess!" The Princess of Wales, who overheard over-heard the kindly injunction and the rather ill-bred reply, said quickly: "Tell the good sailor you are not a little lady yet, but hope to be some i day." |
