By th. appointment. Father Robinson is niaie domestic prelate to Pope Leo, with the titie of Right Reverend Mon-sipnor. Mon-sipnor. which is equal to the rank of a bishop, without the responsibilities of tht letter's position. He will wear the purple cassock with which he will be invested at an early day. At a dinner given to the clergy of Denver Bishop Matz announced that on Dc. 10 the pope conferred upon Father Henry Robinson, vicar general of Colorado, Colo-rado, the title of monsigneur. This is the lirst time this honor has been conferred con-ferred upon a priest of the Rocky mountain region. The funeral oration over Judge H. P. II. Bromwell, father of equal suffrage for women in the state of Colorado, was made by Dr. J. E. Collom of the First New, church-of Denver, Sunday, at 1 o'clock, at the home of the dead man, 1117 Eighth street. The rooms of the pretty home were crowded with friends. Banks of flowers embowered the casket and hid It almost from sight. |
